Bob’s career in strategic marketing began some 25 years ago in the fires of Macy’s marketing department, and since that time he has emerged as a well-respected strategist in the particular fields of health care and relationship marketing. As a guest speaker at both Ball State University and the Forum for Healthcare Strategy and Marketing, Bob’s wealth of strategic experience is an asset not only to groups such as these, but to the clients of SCG as well.
To this last point, Bob is somewhat an atypical President. He enjoys working with clients and has never aspired to be, as he puts it, “…simply an administrative owner of an enterprise.” He continues, “I love strategy, and working with staff and clients to articulate such. To do that, I have to understand our clients’ objectives and capabilities, and I don’t know how you gain that sitting in your office all day essentially contemplating yourself.”
Your presentation today at the economic development course in Muncie was brilliantly insightful. Thank you for sharing your time and expertise. I heard you. It is how I sell, but customers want to drag you back in to picking from a menu and price. You reminded me yet again, it isn’t about price but about creative custom solutions to help customers reach their goal.
